Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her career began with supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt, she played Willa McPherson as reporter. She also appeared in the supporting role in the show that ran for a short time, The Ex List. In the premiere season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as a teenager Moira and in the second season, she played Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of many characters in the comedy show Family Guy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. They moved around for one year before they found their home in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was interested in photography, acting and singing when she was 13. At the age of 15, she relocated with her mom to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career
