Laura Linney

Laura Leggett Linney, born on February 5, 1964, is a popular American actress. She has received numerous awards like Four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. Linney debuted on Broadway in the year 1990. She she has since been awarded Tony Award nominations, including the 2002 revival of The Crucible and Sight Unseen's first Broadway productions (2004), Time Stands Still (2009) The Musical (2007), My Name Is Lucy Barton (2017) in addition to revived versions of The Little Foxes (2017). Her first Emmy Award in 2001 for the film on TV Wild Iris. Subsequent wins included the sitcom Frasier 2003-04 as well as the Miniseries John Adams 2008. She starred from 2010 until 2013 on the show The Big C. This show won her an Emmy Award in 2013. Between 2017 and 2022, she appeared as a participant in the Netflix Crime drama Ozark.
