Morgan Smith

Morgan was a graduate of Columbia College, Columbia University and Columbia University, as well as the Mannes College of Music. In New York City he was selected as an Seattle Opera "young artist" (1999-2000). The singer first made his debut as a professional at Seattle Opera in 2001 in Billy Budd. The actor was the first to make his Dallas Symphony debut in Bach's St. Matthew Passion and was also part of San Antonio Symphony in the San Antonio Symphony at the North American premiere for Detlef Glanert's orchestral interpretation of Brahms' beloved cycle, Vier Praludien Und Ernste Gesange. Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, the Requiems by Brahms and Faure as well as Mozart The Masses of C Minor as well as G Minor composed by Vaughan Williams, Bach's B Minor Mass and many Cantatas that include The Handel's Messiah, L'Allegro il Penseroso and the Moderato from The Creation, Haydn's The Creation, Lord Nelson Mass and Haydn's The Creation are also included in the concert repertoire.
