Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with honors) in Theater and Communication. Upon moving to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting and choreographing for more than two dozen plays and musical productions such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title roles in LA's award winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to land television as well as film roles, while she was studying the art of improvisation in the group The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. Her unique voice, and small size allowed Kelly to create a diverse range of colorful characters. Her most well-known character is Naomi Watts's evil Samara in The Ring 2, but her most famous role was as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of the paralegal as well as a the party animal in TV the show Land's The Exes in the role of a series regular between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, she played Alyssa's smart sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the The CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the stress-stricken suburban mom. She's lent her soprano singing voice to several cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. She was most recently seen on NBC's cult comedy Superstore as the sluggish, however lovable Cloud 9 worker. She lives a quiet life which is quiet with her two sons who are younger than 5 years old. She is a lover of sewing and writes and is a volunteer at various school events.
