Anne Curtis Smith has received several awards in her professional career, including the two FAMAS Awards she won in 2008 and 2009, as well as an Luna Award. Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel featured her as the Komiks' iconic Dyesebel. The show was hosted by her at midday between 2009 and the year 2020. Anne Curtis (born 17 February 1985) is an Filipina Australian model actress television host and record artist. Her achievements include numerous awards in her professional career. These include the two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. She has been nominated in addition for eight PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards and also for the Gawad Urian Awards. She portrayed Dyesebel, the legendary Komiks character from Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She was also the host of It's Showtime the noontime variety show (2009-2020). Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father was married in 1982. was married by Ojales. Her younger sister, who is also an actor was her father. Their father was an older half-sister called Clare, who passed away in 2007 at age 4 months of cardiovascular disease.
